Helical Bar managing director Mike Slade picked up a cool £9.68m in remuneration last year

Slade, who is usually the top-earning UK quoted property company boss, made a £7.64 gain on the exercise of 2.03 million share options, according to Helical Bar’s annual report and accounts, published today.

His salary of £480,000 was augmented by a £1.53m bonus.

Slade was, by far, the highest-paid director at Helical Bar, taking home almost double the £4.94m of finance director Nigel McNair Scott.

Investment director Mike Brown made £3m, which included a £1m ‘sector bonus’. Development director Gerald Kaye earned £1.7m.
