Primary care investor Assura has announced that its non-executive chairman Simon Laffin will leave the company in July after seven years in the role.
He will be replaced by Ed Smith, who joined the company as non-executive director last October, after the company’s AGM on 10 July. Smith will be charged with continuing the growth of Assura under Laffin, which has seen the group join the FTSE 250 and increase its total portfolio to 498 medical centres with an annualised rent roll of £87.4m
