The South East office market recorded the highest take-up in over a decade last year, new data from CBRE has shown.
Last year’s take-up reached more than 3.5m sq ft, the highest level since 2007. Deal activity was 44% ahead of 2017 and 20% above the five-year average.
In the second half of the year, deals of 50,000 sq ft-plus represented more than 1m sq ft or 44% of total take-up. There were only three deals of that size throughout the whole of 2017.
