Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has indicated that it may leave its White Hart Lane ground after identifying alternative sites. Financial Times

In its annual results, Daniel Levy, chief executive of the Premier League club, which has a market capitalisation of £250m, said the review of stadium options was now ‘substantially complete’.

He said that a limited number of potential sites had been found, but expansion of the 36,000 stadium was also a possibility. Levy promised that the club would commit to one option in the first half of 2008.

Tottenham’s preferred option is to stay at White Hart Lane and it has bought up land around the ground, but it faces transport and logistical hurdles to expansion there.
