Standard Life’s retail clearout

Great Portland Estates will pay £38m for The Quedam in Yeovil, Somerset, when contracts are exchanged this month. The sale follows the £73m disposal of the Ashley Centre, Epsom, to Capital & Regional. The third sale is the Cherwell Centre in Banbury to Trinity Investments.
