Strawberry Star Group has acquired a site next to a shopping centre in Harlow, Essex, from Tristan Capital Partners and Addington Capital with a view to developing a £245m scheme.
The group paid £15.5m for the 4.5-acre site, which sits 10 minutes away from Harlow Town station.
The scheme (pictured) has planning consent for 447 residential units across four towers and 40,000 sq ft of retail.
It is next to Tristan and Addington’s Harvey Centre, a retail asset bought by the JV in 2011 and refurbished.
