Supermarket REIT buys Sheffield Morrisons and arranges £52.1m loan facility

Supermarket Income REIT has acquired a Morrisons’ supermarket in Sheffield from Opus North for £51.7m and secured a new £52.1m loan facility.

The property is located on an 8.4-acre site in Hillsborough Barracks which comprises a 113,000 sq ft supermarket, approximately 860 parking spaces and a 12-pump petrol filling station.
