Swedish baker Peter’s Yard has become the first retail tenant in Gladedale’s Quatermile mixed use development in Edinburgh.

Peter’s Yard, which will be spear-headed by renowned baker Jan Hedh, has taken 1,800 sq ft at the scheme.

It will move in to the £450m development next month.

Quartermile, which consists of over 900 residential apartments, around 350,000sq ft of grade

A office space and retial and leisure space, has been developed as part of a joint venture between Gladedale and HBOS.

Law firm Maclay Murray & Spens has taken 50,000 sq ft of No.1 Quartermile Square and the first residents are expected to move in this month.
