Tchenguiz retracts bid for £250m Zinc hotel portfolio

Property tycoon Vincent Tchenguiz attempted to buy back a portfolio of hotels that was being sold by the administrators of one of his other companies but later decided to pull the bid, it has emerged.

Tchenguiz made a conditional offer to acquire the Zinc portfolio, which comprises nine Hilton hotels across the UK, last month. However, the offer to acquire the properties – which are being marketed for around £250m – has now been withdrawn.
