Landlords and telecoms companies at loggerheads over new comms code.

The code, which came into effect at the end of 2017, aims to make the process of installing and maintaining telecoms systems easier for telecoms companies.

It does this by recalculating the rental value of telecoms systems installed on properties, granting telecoms operators 24-hour access to the systems and replacing a 28-day notice period for their removal with an 18-month notice period.
