Thor Equities Group has announced that its Mexican subsidiary Thor Urbana is developing 6m sq ft of projects across retail, leisure and residential in four projects at Merida, Los Cobos, Metepec and Guadalajara.

The four schemes are set to launch this month and will more than double Thor’s footprint in the country, which it is developing alongside its European holdings which include the recently acquired €75m 30 Gran Via in Madrid.

The lead project, Landmark Guadalajara, is a mixed-use development spanning more than 2m sq ft of retail, office space and luxury residences in the Puerta de Hierro district of Mexico’s second largest city.
