Travelodge has appointed Steve Bennett as its new property director.
Bennett previously worked as director of property at Marks & Spencer. He will now help support Travelodge’s plans to open 100 new hotels across the UK over the next five years.
Bennett has also held director roles at Travis Perkins and Dixons Carphone prior to his new role.
“I am incredibly excited to be joining the UK’s iconic low cost hotel chain, Travelodge, as the company embarks on its next phase of development,” said Bennett.
Peter Gowers, Travelodge chief executive, added: “We are delighted to welcome Steve as our Property Director. Steve’s extensive experience within the UK property sector will be invaluable as we seek new opportunities to expand our network and deliver affordable travel for everyone.”
