US and UK buyers eye world’s first moving tower
According to Rotating Tower Dubai Development, investors from either side of the Atlantic are reserving more of the flats in its first development in Dubai than investors from any other country.
Plans by Florentine architect David Fisher for the innovative tower to be built in New York and Moscow too, were unveiled last month. Since then the developer said it had received more than 600 reservations for the Dubai tower, 140 of them from the US and 94 from the UK. Flats will be priced at up to €20m (£15.8m).
The Dubai tower will have 80 floors and be 420m tall. Each flat is designed to have a 360 degree view as it rotates around a central pillar.
