Located in Collingtree, the mixed tenure development will consist of 700 private homes and 300 affordable homes, ranging from one-bed to five-bed houses.

This is the fourth joint venture between the two developers, which both said the latest venture made way for more affordable homes. Out of the 300 affordable homes, 195 will be earmarked for shared ownership and 105 for affordable rent.

The JV made a community infrastructure payment of £18m which it said will be put towards the construction of a new primary school and community centre.

Strategic land managing director at Bovis Homes – part of Vistry Group – John Lougher said: “The range of housing on offer – from one-bed apartments to five-bed houses – means the development will appeal to a wide range of people at different stages of their lives, creating a real sense of community.”

Construction is expected to begin this month.
