VOA tried to rehire senior staff who it encouraged to leave

The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) tried to rehire senior members of staff it had encouraged to leave through voluntary redundancies, Property Week can reveal.

Business ratings agency Altus Group has been hiring many ex-VOA staff over the last few years and its executive vice president Robert Hayton claims its staff were sent letters from the VOA last year asking them to come back.
