Wayfair eyes 1m sq ft shed at Midlands distribution hub

Gazeley Magna Park Lutterworth

US online furniture retailer set to pre-let 1m sq ft distribution centre in Lutterworth.

Property Week understands the firm is in discussions with developer Gazeley about taking a build-to-suit facility at Magna Park Lutterworth.

Wayfair, which entered the UK market in 2011, has been operating from a 258,503 sq ft warehouse at the same scheme since November 2016 but sales growth has been so rapid since then that it needs larger premises to keep up with orders.
