Westfield London, the 1.6m sq ft shopping centre in west London received its 10 millionth visitor this weekend since the centre opened five months ago.
Paul Buttigieg, general manager at Westfield London, said: 'The centre’s popularity continues to attract shoppers from across London and beyond. We have had visitor numbers of more than the population of London. There is nowhere else in London with such a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants all under one spectacular roof.'
Westfield, the Australian owner of the shopping centre, introduced “Two Hours To Play” at the centre last week as part of celebrations to mark the centre’s first Easter.
From April for three months shoppers can benefit from two hours free parking any time, any day, in the centre’s dedicated 4,500 space car park as well as enjoy a range of events being hosted at the centre.
