Westfield has signed up a raft of tenants at its scheme in Bradford.

It has signed up six retail brands from Philip Green’s Arcadia Group to open at its £340m Bradford redevelopment.

Topshop/Topman, Evans, Dorothy Perkins, Burtons, Wallis and Miss Selfridge will take a total of 43,341 sq ft in the new centre which is being anchored by Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.

Michael Gutman, managing director of Westfield UK & Europe, said: ‘Wallis and Miss Selfridge will return to Bradford city centre in the new Westfield development, while Arcadia stores already in Bradford will be able to improve their existing offer.’

He added: ‘Retailer interest in Bradford is strong and further deals are close to being concluded.’

Preparation works have begun on the 10-acre site, which when completed will include more than 100 retail units over two levels, a modern food court, residential units and office accommodation.

The Westfield scheme will deliver 588,000 sq ft of retail floor space, with public transport links and parking for more than 1,800 car
