Andy Hornby, the former chief executive of HBOS, was personally and specifically warned four years ago that the bank and its customers were 'at risk' if the markets turned, according to fresh evidence delivered yesterday to the Treasury Select Committee by Paul Moore, the bank’s ex-head of risk.

The HBOS whistleblower, whose original claims that the bank’s former management ignored warnings of the dangers were strongly denied two weeks ago, has delivered a new 53 page document to the TSC full of fresh claims of HBOS’s refusal to heed warnings about dangerous risk.
