Workspace Group, London’s leading provider of flexible business space, has poached Manhattan Loft Corporation managing director Angus Boag as development director
Boag joined Manhattan Loft Corporation in 1993 and has served as managing director since 2000. While there, he presided over the development of more than 2m sq ft (185,804 sq m) of retail, office and residential space in central London.
Harry Platt, chief executive of Workspace, said: ‘As London continues to thrive, the opportunities to pursue the improvement of a number of our estates in London for mixed use, higher-density schemes, are increasing.
'There are significant opportunities for the group to release added value from intensifying the use at many of our sites. We have recognised the need to build up our internal expertise to help release this additional value in this area of urban regeneration.’
Boag is expected to start at Workspace on 1 June on a part-time basis and will take up his full position later in the year.
