Wyeth Pharmaceuticals has signed to take a 115,000 sq ft pre-let at Green Park in Reading – around ten months after first being linked to the park (PW, 01.05.07).
Owner Prupim has submitted a planning application to Reading Borough Council for a 140,000 sq ft building to house Wyeth’s headquarters.
The pharmaceutical company, which is one of the biggest in the world, is currently located in Taplow, Berkshire. It will now move to 500 Brook Drive, off Longwater Avenue at Green Park.
State-of-the-art
Development director of Prupim Tim Davis said that the modern, state-of-the-art building would be completed by 2009 if planning was granted.
