Sotheby's secures double appointment and expands into Madrid

Auction house giant Sotheby’s UK realty business has recruited Carter Jonas partner Jason Corbett to head up its country sales and lettings team.

Corbett joins the global Sotheby’s international realty network as director of country sales and brings 25 years of industry experience having worked at Carter Jonas, Sullivan Thomas, Greenslade Taylor Hunt and Savills. 

Alongside him, James Somers has been promoted to head of central London lettings based in the business’ Belgravia office, which is overseen by head of residential Guy Bradshaw. In the last six months, the central London lettings team has been appointed on 395 instructions to grow its portfolio substantially.
