Tenant caught out by lease wording

Unlike the recent decision in Canary Wharf Investments v Telegraph Group (25 June 2003), which favoured the tenant, the decision in Beegas favours the landlord and it is a good example of how landlords seek to manipulate reality to increase their income from properties on review.
