The auction house is offering 53 more lots than at last year’s sale, including 23 lots guided at £1m-plus.
The auction house has said it expects to beat the £53m raised at that auction due to both the larger catalogue and the fact that 23 lots are guided at more than £1m. In March 2017, Allsop sold 145 lots from a 204-strong catalogue, reflecting a success rate of 72%.
