Auction House hits record £455m in 2018 after sales income grows by 2.4%

National auction franchise Auction House increased its sales income by 2.4% last year to a record £455m.

The group sold 3,680 lots from the almost 5,000 offered, reflecting an overall success rate of 74%.

Both the total raised and the number of lots sold last year were up on 2017, when the auctioneer raised £444m from 3,485 lots.
