Auction House London’s takings were up year on year at its 25 October sale, despite the success rate being lower than at its October 2017 sale.
The auctioneer raised £20m compared with £17m last year. However, it only sold 89 of the 136 lots on offer, reflecting a 66% success rate, while last year 67 of the 90 lots on offer were sold, reflecting a 74% success rate.
