Barnett Ross hopes to sell most expensive single auction lot ever at May sale

Barnett Ross is hoping to sell the most expensive single lot ever in the UK at its next auction in May.

The London-based auction house is marketing a residential estate of 65 flats and 30 garages in Finchley, north London, with a guide price in excess of £16m.

If sold for its asking price, the estate would set a new record as the largest lot ever sold at auction in the UK.
