The £4.3m sale of a Warwickshire shopping centre was the highlight of Acuitus’s March auction, which raised a lot less than last year’s equivalent overall.
The sale raised £32.3m, with 46 of 59 lots sold – reflecting a 78% success rate. Last March, Acuitus raised £55m and achieved a 91% success rate from 88 lots offered. Nine properties sold last week fetched more than £1m each.
The day’s star lot was the Abbeygate Shopping Centre in Nuneaton, which was guided at £3.7m and sold to a private local property company for £4.285m, reflecting a 17.9% yield.
