Savills and Strettons both outperformed their year-on-year sales totals at their latest auctions.
The residential-focused auction houses each recorded an increase in the total raised, despite a dip in success rates. Savills raised £42m at its auction on 26 March, selling 137 lots, or 73% of the 189 offered. This was up from £38m in March last year, when the auctioneer sold 126 lots from a 165-lot catalogue, reflecting a 77% success rate.
