Latest national auction raises £21m from 97-lot catalogue – £9.5m less than equivalent sale last year

Savills sold 63 lots of the 97 offered at its 24 July sale, raising £21m – just two thirds of the £30.5m it raised at the equivalent sale last year.

The auctioneer achieved a success rate of 65% compared with 79% last year, when it sold 93 of the 118 lots offered.
