Fans of cult comedy film Hot Fuzz starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg should start counting their pennies ahead of Acuitus’s auction on 16 June, when a rare opportunity to buy a property in Sandford is due to go on sale.
The fictional village where all is not as it seems is actually Wells in Somerset and later this month, a bank building occupied by Santander will go under the hammer with a guide price of between £525,000 and £535,000.
The property comprises the bank on the ground floor with ancillary accommodation on the first and second floors and generates an annual rent of £39,000.
Property Eye reckons movie-buff bidders should bid over the phone by shouting ‘yarp’.
