Urban logistics is one of the hottest property sectors at the moment, so hot that investors are struggling to find available stock at an affordable price.
Step forward ‘ElteeBricks’ – a LEGO developer who has dreamed up a small logistics facility called ‘Transport Inc’ made out of LEGO. Featuring a drivers’ reception and office on the ground floor, a warehouse area and a second-floor staff canteen, the structure has even been designed with modern methods of construction in mind and is fully modular.
ElteeBricks has submitted the design for his tiny logistics facility to the LEGO Ideas website and if it attracts more than 10,000 supporters, the company will consider manufacturing the concept.
Granted, it’s not going to resolve the demand supply imbalance in the real world, but it would definitely plug a gap in the world of LEGO.
