The Telegraph Group prepared to shift its operations westwards from Canary Wharf to an office next to Victoria station in central London, marking the end of nearly two decades in London Docklands.

In 2014, Kennedy Wilson Europe acquired 111 Buckingham Palace Road – The Telegraph’s Victoria office – for £204.3m, reflecting a gross yield of 5.1%. In December 2018, the Telegraph Group announced it was looking for a new headquarters.

In October this year, the Barclay brothers, who own the newspaper – as well as the Ritz London and Shop Direct – put The Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph up for sale.
