Donald Trump won a poll-busting victory in the US presidential election, sending shockwaves through the political world.
Reaction from the real estate sector was mixed. Jefferies analyst Mike Prew called it a “another black swan” event following Brexit – one that would reach the UK property industry.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Troni, Cushman & Wakefield head of EMEA research, said it was a “shock outcome” but would not affect the sector in the long term and urged calm.
Trump served one tumultuous term and was twice impeached.
