WeWork sold $702m of bonds in its first-ever offering, increasing the size of the pot by 40% after finding plenty of investors willing to jump into the office space market.
In 2019, it was forced to pull its IPO, once expected to be valued at $17bn.
Now, after a SPAC-driven public offering last year to the tune of $9.3bn, the company offers a cautionary tale of overexpansion that even inspired a docudrama series, WeCrashed, earlier this year.
