WHAT IS IT?
Powered by Westbourne Capital Partners and Meyer Bergman, #RESIhackathon is an eight-hour hack to develop health and safety solutions for residential schemes. Participants will have the chance to win £1,500 and to demonstrate their prototype in front of the top people in the UK residential sector.
Today, ensuring the health and safety of modern residential schemes is more important than ever. Recent events such as the Grenfell Tower tragedy have proven that technology and innovation need to move forward rapidly.
This is an opportunity to develop apps or solutions to improve the health and safety of residential schemes, to create solutions for residents and landlords to respond to health and safety concerns or to create communication or management tools to be used during a crisis.
Participants will have eight hours to work in teams to develop a prototype that could transform the health and safety of residential schemes. Accommodation on the night of 14 September will be provided. Catering will also be supplied throughout; participants will also receive an exclusive invite to the evening gala dinner at the Celtic Manor.
