Berkeley Group chairman Tony Pidgley has lambasted the planning system for being too slow, branding some council planning departments “awful”.
Speaking on a panel at Property Week’s RESI convention entitled ‘Why are we no closer to solving the housing crisis?’ Pidgley cited planning as the biggest barrier to bringing forward new developments.
