Speaking ahead of this year’s RESI Convention, Nick Riley, board director at Whittam Cox Architects, and Mike Kearney, responsible for deal origination at Maslow Capital, discuss joint ventures and the role they can play in resolving the UK’s worsening housing crisis, hosted by Blackstock Consulting founder Andrew Teacher.

Whittam Cox Architects and Maslow Capital are sponsors of this year’s Best Community JV Projects Initiative, which celebrates the very best in joint-venture schemes.

The nominees can be made by developers, housebuilders, local authorities or housing associations. Nominations will be judged on how the JV partnership brought about positive change on the community and had a broader impact on connectivity, infrastructure, and transport.

Entries will be voted for by RESI delegates. One winning large scheme (250 units or more) and one winning small scheme (fewer than 250 units) will be revealed on Thursday night at the Gala dinner (14 September).

Join us for this year’s RESI Convention, the largest residential property event in the UK, on September 12-14 in Celtic Manor, Wales.
