Care homes benefit as time is called on pubs


As standards across the care home sector improve, pubs and hotels continue to be converted or rebuilt for elderly care. In Liverpool, the Derby Mills pub has been demolished to make way for a new 64-bed care home by Ideal Carehomes, for example.
