Gov response to Portas Review “lacks bold vision” says industry

The government’s response to Mary Portas’ high street review has been criticised by two major trade bodies for not “living up to her bigger ambition to revitalise our high streets”, while the landlord BIDs proposals has been deemed “worryingly weak”.
