Savills Investment Management has signed publisher Pan Macmillan on a pre-let to take the majority of its Smithson office redevelopment in Farringdon on behalf of the Charities Property Fund.
Pan Mac, the orignal publisher of the James Bond series in the UK, has committed to over 75% of the building on a 15-year term with a tenant break in year 10. The building has been comprehensively refurbished to include a new façade, new windows, a double height reception fronting Briset Street, an entrance to St John’s Square and Grade-A floor plates. Pan will take up a ground floor reception and the six upper floors, totalling 36,500 sq ft upon completion in early 2019.
