Agents have been appointed to Gravity, a 635-acre brownfield site in Somerset earmarked to set a new precedent for “smart and clean campuses of the future”.
JLL has been tasked by Gravity to populate the campus, currently under construction, with occupiers from a range of sectors to work in the campus’s various spaces. These include facilities for manufacturing and robotics, AI, electric vehicles, research and development, assembly and distribution and offices. The appointment comes after JLL itself committed to a rigorous sustainability programme last year.
Gravity also announced a 50-year partnership with E.ON which will provide the campus with renewable or low carbon energy solutions. These measures are expected to be on-site from autumn this year.
