Ahead of this September’s all-new RESI Convention, Property Week is teaming up with Savills’ head of residential research Lucian Cook for a Twitter debate on the biggest issues facing the sector.

The #RESIdebate, which will challenge participants to ’reimagine the housing market’, will take place on 21 June between 1pm and 2pm.

The debate comes at what Cook described as a “potential tipping point” for the residential sector, with volatile house prices, Brexit uncertainty, a shift in power from buy-to-let to build-to-rent and the ongoing impact of stamp duty providing much cause for debate.

Last year’s #RESIdebate generated more than 1.7 million impressions across more than 100 tweets. To join this year’s top-level conversation, all you need to do is tweet your questions using #RESIdebate in advance or on the day.

Meanwhile, Property Week has added a number of new speakers to the bill for the RESI Convention, which takes place 12-14 September at Celtic Manor in Wales. Palace Capital chief executive Neil Sinclair, Soho Housing chief executive Vivienne King and Atlas Residential managing director Jonathon Ivory are among the new speakers confirmed for Thursday and former Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell has been signed up to deliver a keynote speech on Friday.
