Alex Jeffrey
Alex Jeffrey is CEO of MGPA’s European operations and is responsible for its business in Europe. He manages a 100-strong team across six offices, as well as overseeing the investment strategy and programme of MGPA’s European real estate funds which have around US$2.3bn of assets under management. Jeffrey has 20 years’ experience in finance and banking, of which the past 11 years have been exclusively dedicated to real estate.

James Knox
James Knox has been at Linklaters since 1987. He is cohead of the German Real Estate team and cohead of the London Real Estate Finance team.
He has worked on numerous transactions in Europe including the Blackstone/Deutsche sale and leaseback which was the first large multi-jurisdictional European sale and leaseback. James’ principal clients include Union Investment, RBS, Fortress and Deutsche Bank.

David Brown
David Brown is a partner in the real estate tax group of Deloitte in London and heads the real estate funds practice. He has recently returned from a secondment to Deloitte’s Sydney office, where he focussed on Australian investment into Europe, Asia and the US. Brown specialises in advising on the taxation aspects of real estate investment and development transactions and has led teams advising a number of real estate funds, property companies and private investors. His clients include Standard Life, Henderson Global Investors, Westfield, ING REIM, AREA Property Partners and Songbird/Canary Wharf.

Tony Edgley
Tony Edgley is a Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance. He has been with the company for over 27 years, 8 of which were in New York. He has worked and travelled extensively in South East Asia, where he was responsible for the establishment of two private real estate investment management businesses.
