The open-ended fund targets quality real estate across a range of sectors, including office, retail and industrial. As of Q4 last year, it had an NAV of £554m.

Marshall is an internal appointment, having worked for CBRE following the acquisition of Oxford Property Consultants eight years ago, where she was an analyst. More recently, she was an account manager for CBRE Global Investment Partners’ European Fund of Funds.

Michael Ness, Head of UK, CBRE Global Investors, said: “The UK Property Fund is a significant focus for our business and we are committed to building on the good performance and size of the fund.

“Hannah is an excellent choice for us to achieve our ambitions – she is an internal appointment, which is very important to us as a business, and has all the right attributes to take the fund onto the next level and make it a fund of choice for those investing in the UK pooled funds market.”

Hannah replaces Matt McDonald who will leave the company at the end of February.
