Fashion retailer Flannels has signed for a second store at Grosvenor’s £950m Liverpool One scheme.
The new 20,000 sq ft store will be located in the Peter’s Lane district where the focus is on higher-end fashion brands. Flannels’ existing Liverpool store is in the Met Quarter.
Neil Barber, head of retail leasing at Grosvenor, said: ‘We know that the fashion spend in Liverpool outstrips even fashion-conscious Manchester which clearly underlines the reasoning behind a second presence for Flannels in the city.
‘There is extremely strong consumer demand for high-end fashion brands in Liverpool, a large and ever-growing catchment.’
Flannels was launched in 1976 and employs 250 people at 13 sites including Nottingham, Birmingham and Leeds.
