Liberty Property Trust has agreed a deal with finance group Cabot Financial for a bespoke headquarters building at Kings Hill in Kent

The deal will see Cabot almost double its space at the business park in taking a 43,529 sq ft (4,043 sq m) office at No 1 Kings Hill Avenue.

The finance group has agreed to take a 20-year lease on the property, close to the silver ball sculpture at the entrance to the park, at an undisclosed rent. It will occupy the property in the second quarter of 2007.

Cabot, which buys overdue debts from banks and other major lending organisations, currently houses about 300 staff in other offices at Kings Hill.

Andrew Blevins, managing director at Liberty Property Trust, said: ‘The new building will provide more than double the space Cabot now occupies.’

CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank are the letting agents at Kings Hill.
