The Scottish letting market is to end the year on a high following a hat trick of deals across Edinburgh and Glasgow

More than 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) of office and restaurant space has been let in three separate deals during the traditionally slow period between Christmas and New Year.

In Edinburgh, Morley Fund Management has let two floors at Causewayside House to litigation lawyers Digby Brown totalling 9,556 sq ft (888 sq m). The law firm has signed a 20 year lease at £162,452 a year.

In addition, The University of Edinburgh has taken a further 9,558 sq ft (888 sq m) in the same building. The university has signed a nine year lease at £162,486 a year.

In Glasgow, clients of LaSalle Investment Management have let 1,283 sq ft (119 sq m) of restaurant space at Charlotte House, 78 Queen Street, to Oko Express. The restaurant has signed a 20-year lease at an annual rent of £57,500.

Jones Lang Lasalle brokered all three deals.
