It is very likely a company owning 15 properties or more will be exempt from the new stamp duty laws and in terms of mortgage tax relief when you own a company, to be frank tax relief is mitigated completely because you can claim many business expenses. The big winner however in 2016 will be HMO's, as rents will go up because of forced less mortgage relief, more people will be looking to share...and this is already the biggest requested type of accommodation in the UK
