UK regional office investment exceeded the £1bn mark in Q1 2018, with strong interest from institutional investors delivering investment 28% above the five-year quarterly average, according to a new report.
Institutions invested £207m in the regions, while sales in central London hit £1.1bn. Major deals driving the total included Legal & General acquiring the India Buildings in Liverpool for £125m from Shelborn Asset Management and Aviva Investors purchasing Two New Bailey Square in Manchester for £113m from English Cities Fund.
